Uttam Kumar Reddy met Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth in New Delhi, after which the Military Secretary's Branch offered three Lieutenant Colonels of the Corps of Engineers — Satyadev Singh, Ranjit A. Menon, and H.V. Bhalla — for deputation to Telangana's irrigation projects.
